A CHANCE meeting on the Friends Reunited website has led two old friends to run a business together.
Barry Tindall re-established contact with Mark Keohane, his old pal from Icknield School, Watlington on the Internet site, which helps people to get in touch with former schoolmates.
Having last seen each other when they were 13 in 1973, they arranged to meet and now Mr Tindall has invited Mr Keohane to help run his Henley-based recruitment firm, Tindall Resourcing.
He said: "We have found that we get on as well now as we did all those years ago.
"Mark has been running his own small consulting business for the last few years and was looking for new opportunities. We had lunch a couple of months ago and the idea of working together was born. Mark's experience will be invaluable, and we are both really looking forward to it."
Abingdon-born Mr Tindall and Mr Keohane, both now 45, were separated when Mr Keohane's father, who was in the Army, was stationed in Cyprus.
Mr Keohane has been working as a management consultant until he started full time with Mr Tindall this week.
He said: "We get on as well as ever and enjoy working together."
