FOOTBALL: Ace Allen leads way for Swifts

Josh Allen was the star of the show as Chipping Norton Swifts ran out 8-0 victors at Easington Sports in the Under 10 D League.

Allen led the way with a fabulous four-timer, while Matty Lewis chipped in with a brace.

Dan Newman and Jack Williams-Sharkey completed the scoring.

In the A League, Tower Hill saw off Charlton & District 4-2.

Harry Thomson bagged a double for Tower, with Jack Wood and James O'Sullivan also on target.

James Mendham and Ben Crosby replied.

Thomas Harvey scored the goal that helped Carterton Colts to a 1-1 draw against Deddington Colts.

Witney Vikings Youth went down 3-2 in an entertaining B League clash with Launton.

Elliot Braggins and Charlie Smith netted for Vikings, but a Cameron Hawtin treble gave Launton the points.

In the C League, Jacob Fisk scored the only goal as Freeland beat Combe Junior Sports 1-0.

Jack Kennedy bagged a hat-trick to help Witney Vikings Youth to a thrilling 7-4 victory over Bloxham in the Under 15 A League.

Paul Banks netted a double, with Bradley Snell and Ryan Grant also on target.

Ryan Wilson replied with a treble for Bloxham, with Charles Hawkins scoring their other goal.

Chipping Norton Town Swifts went down 3-1 at home to Chesterton Juniors, Ollie Brotherston netting their goal.

Joe Fullerton smashed a five-timer as Tower Hill saw off Grendon Rangers 6-4 in the Under 14 A League.

Eddie Stevens netted their other goal.

In the B League, Ducklington's Cameron Scott scored four times in his side's 6-4 victory at Cumnor Minors - their first success of the season.

Dan Moore and Kieran McPherson scored their other goals.

Oliver Chowns and Aaron Robins put Carterton 2-0 up at Bicester Town Colts, but they finished up on the losing side in the Under 13 A League.

Bicester hit back to win 3-2, thanks to strikes from Callum Green and Andrew Ingram, plus an own goal.

Witney Vikings cruised into the third round of the Under 12 Knockout Cup with a 14-0 victory over North Leigh.

Jamie Mariani led the way with a hat-trick, and there were also doubles from Joel Spalding, Andy Horne, Chris Oliver and Charlie McCullough.

Callum Marinho, Louis Scott and Jack Scott scored the others.

Wychwood edged to a 2-1 win over Steeple Aston & Barton.

Josh Edwards and Jack Young were on target, with Mark Ferguson replying.

Tower Hill needed extra time before progressing with a 3-2 victory at Launton.

Adam Moore, Daniel Bullock and Ed Priest scored Tower's goals.

Eynsham Youth beat Ducklington 3-0, thanks to goals from Liam Botcherby, Dan Lynch and Liam Dinan.

Curtis Hathaway's double led Freeland to a 6-0 victory at Kingham All Blacks in the Under 11 C League.

George French, Jake Surman, Charlie Williams and Charlie Francis scored the other goals.

Carterton beat Hook Norton 2-1 in the B league, thanks to goals from Liam Court and Kia Campbell.

Josh Hunt bagged Hooky's consolation.

Witney Vikings and Eynsham Youth fought out an entertaining 2-2 draw in the Under 9 B League.

Nathan Kimber and Tom Alty were on target for Vikings, with Daniel Reading and Ryan Stockford replying.

Goals from Matthew Hall, Jack Saleand and Alex Innocenti gave Yarnton Blues a 3-0 win at Garden City in the Under 8 Friendly South League.
